Black Blood World spent most of its lifetime in dank basements and cramped vans across northern Europe, playing for dumpstered scraps, cheep beer and sweaty hugs. Websters dictionary describes their sound as an amalgamation of hardcore punk, thrash metal and the sound of two drunks in a trashcan rolling down a flight of stairs. With a fiercely political, queer-positive and aggressively nerdy message the band made several friends along the way, and even got radio play. Once.
It all came to a grinding halt in 2010, when a highly volatile combination of substance abuse and a laissez-faire attitude to explosives forced the band off the grid.
Now that the heat has died down it's time to crack open the vault and make the old recordings - some of them previously unreleased - available to the indifferent masses.
